Golf – The Wyndham Championship

Greensboro, North Carolina – August 2 to August 7, 2022

Formerly known as the Greater Greensboro Open, be sure not to miss the 6th oldest event on the PGA Tour Schedule at the Wyndham Championship this August. Located in the northwest of North Carolina, this PGA championship was once won by the late, great Seve Ballesteros.

This year, head off to watch the Wyndham Championship to see if previous winner Patrick Reed and defending champion Kevin Kisner can hold their nerve on the tough 18th hole to raise the trophy aloft again in 2022.

The 2.17-mile street circuit races through downtown Nashville, crossing the Cumberland River twice every lap. After each day of racing, watch as Nashville comes alive by heading to the Big Machine ZYN Main Stage because this year, the Music City Grand Prix is also being headlined by Grammy Award-winning Tim McGraw.

For WNBA fans, the hot ticket clash on this year’s WNBA schedule happens in August between the two divisional conference favorites. Watch defending 2021 winners Chicago Sky travel to take on the pre-season favorite Las Vegas Aces in their own backyard.

With three WNBA MVP titles between them and both two-time Olympic gold medallists, Candace Parker takes the Sky to take on A’ja Wilson and the Aces in Nevada.

The Super Bowl never takes place in Week 1 of the NFL schedule, but it might as well be this year. Catch all the action as the defending Super Bowl Champions the Los Angeles Rams play host to this season’s potential AFC champions the Buffalo Bills.

Can the Bill’s Sean McDermott and Josh Allen outsmart the Ram’s Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford on the road in Los Angeles? One of these teams will not start the season with a ‘W’, and this game is a must-not-miss for any NFL fan.
